It is with great enthusiasm that I begin my 4th mandate on the Board of Trustees of Leucan. This year it is a new challenge for me as I will be the president of the Association, a challenge I am very much looking forward to. I am a mother of three beautiful children, my youngest of whom is now cured of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Today, he is in perfect shape and I am very grateful to have crossed paths with Leucan during this more difficult period. They were one of the key elements to get through the disease. My involvement with Leucan is a way for me to give back to the next person.
From a professional point of view, I am a chartered professional accountant and I am a partner in the accounting firm Demers Beaulne. I have the opportunity to accompany entrepreneurs in all their projects. This is also what I want to do by being involved in the board of directors of Leucan; to accompany families so that they can get through the disease.

Professionally, I am an actuary and partner in a firm specializing in total compensation consulting.

Member of the Leucan Board of Trustees since 2019 and involved in the philanthropic development and governance committees. Involved in the ambassadors’ committee of the Leucan Experience evening for 7 years and now as president of the committee, I had the opportunity to work with the organization’s permanent staff and to get to know outstanding people dedicated to making these events a great success.
I am the father of three beautiful young adults, Alexandre, Justine and Rémi. In 2014, our family was touched by illness as Remi was diagnosed with T-type acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He is now in remission and healthy. From the first days of Rémi’s illness, Leucan was there to support us on many levels. Through my involvement, I hope to accomplish a significant gesture for Leucan, the children who, like Rémi, deserve our support as well as all the families affected by the challenges of their disease.

I am thrilled to begin my first term as a board member of Leucan. Leucan is an extraordinary organization that provides invaluable support to children with cancer and their families. In 2020, the youngest of my four children was diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer. Throughout this intensive and challenging period of treatments, marked by uncertainty, Leucan was by our side. My son is doing well now, and it is time for me to give back.

Leucan came into my life in December 2015, when my daughter Dorothée was diagnosed with leukemia. Since then, Leucan has accompanied and supported me and continues to do so today even after Dorothée’s death. This is why I wish to get involved in Leucan’s board of directors, in order to participate in its mission and to support the children who are courageously fighting cancer and their families.
I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration and more than 10 years of experience in marketing and communications.

After working on several Leucan Shaved Head Challenges, I decided to join the Board of Trustees. I am the mother of two children: Licia and Enzo. At the age of four, Enzo was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, but he is now in remission and doing very well. Leucan played such a crucial role in our daily life over his two years of treatment, so it’s now our family’s turn to pay it forward.
On the professional front, I am an engineer currently working in project management and continuous improvement for the National Bank’s Financial Markets Operations. I hope to contribute my skills and knowledge to families supported by Leucan.

It is with great enthusiasm that I joined Leucan’s Board of Directors in 2021. As the mother of a young boy, Nolan, and the godmother of two little girls, I know how precious our children health is. I have always been sensitive to the situation of sick children and I believe that support for families is essential. I consider myself fortunate to have been chosen to actively participate in Leucan whose reputation is highly recognized. As a member of the board, I want to get involved and ensure that Leucan’s values are perpetuated.
Having worked in the financial field for over 20 years, with extensive experience as a manager and holding the CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation, it is only natural for me to be involved in the Human Resources, and Services committees.
Accompanying boards of directors, board chairmen and business leaders, I have developed a passion for governance. In my current and past roles, I have created and facilitated several training sessions for Boards of Directors, advisory committees and executives while helping them to perfect their roles and deepen their responsibilities as directors.

I was pleased to renew my support on the Board of Trustees because Leucan and its cause for children are particularly close to my heart. As a teenage survivor of pediatric cancer, Leucan was there for my family and me through this ordeal. For more than 10 years now, I’ve been serving on various boards. My wife Nancy and I are the lucky parents of an extraordinary teenager named Emily. Our whole family recognizes the importance of getting involved in such a noble cause.
On the professional front, I have an MBA from HEC and I am a strategic advisor, business management and financing.
