Leucan’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an important opportunity for members to express their views on the Association’s structure and direction. It’s also an opportunity to discover the year’s highlights, learn more about the activities and services offered, promote the interests of families and meet the members of the Board of Directors. The AGM includes voting on Association decisions and filling vacancies on the Board of Directors. It’s a key event for the equitable provision of services and for the involvement of members in governance.
Schedule
This annual event contains two main elements:
- The AGM: The Association’s members have the opportunity to vote on major decisions concerning its structure, direction and governance. It’s a time when members’ voices are heard and they can help shape the Association’s future.
- Awards: The AGM weekend is also an opportunity for the Association to celebrate several individuals who have distinguished themselves during the year. The Jocelyn Demers awards are presented to inspiring young members in the form of bursaries, while the Camie and Coup de cœur awards are presented to volunteers.
